"Reading with the Stars"

    I have been reading a book for the past month called "Reading with the Stars." and its writen by an interviewer who works for the American Library Asst. The book is stories and interviews with fames people (Bill Gates, Obama, Mrs. Bush....) about their point of view and books and libraries. Its really interesting what they have dont to help libraries and what book reading means to them, and some of the stuff I don't agree with, but thats normal as far as book reading goes. I have yet to finish it, but I just wanted to tell you what I think of books and libraries.

    Library = A way for people to be able to read when they dont have the means to alse where. I grew up going to the library, everwhere I lived I went, even if I was staying at a friends house I went to her library. I love book JSYK. And I love going to the library because I feel like I can learn whatever I want. Most of the time I go so I can just look at the books, maybe get one or two, but just see what they have that might be of interest to me.

    My older brother and I are super close, we do almost everthing together, and two years ago before my bro left for a mission, we would go to the library every tuesday and then head over to the comic book store.  I loved it, we would drive down the main road with the windows rolled down and rock/screamo muusic blasting, and that was our time together, we always got mad when something interfered with our tuesday outings.

    Books = Away to escape the troubles of life and be a new person.
I read all types of books, classics to fantisy to biogaphies. You name it I might just read it. (If its within my moral standards.)
    My favorite types of books are the pre-teen books like: Leven Thumps, Fableheaven, Percy Jackson series, etc. I find them very exciting and yes I read the Twilight series, but I didnt enjoy it very much.

     I like good books. I also love history, I love having knowledge of things past. I like being able to spout random facts about the wars, poeple, or places.  I love having stacks of books by my bed so I can just pick one up that fits my mood and read it. I can be reading up to ten books at a time. Which drives some of my friends insane, but I dont really care.

   I think a good book should just grab you and never let go, a good book is one you can't put down no matter how hard you try.A good book makes you cry when the main character does, a good book makes you angry when someone is hurt. A good book makes you the character, and its world your world.
