It looks like I won't make my book goal, I became busy and loss track of time, and now my books are due back and its the 30th of December. But I will try to finish one more book before tomorrow, I started it and now I just need to finish it.
We will see what happens and I will update you later.

This years goal.
Yet again I have set a goal for myself on how many books I could read this year. It started out with 25, and it looked like I wouldn't reach that, but then I found time to read, my hours were cut at work due to the pregnancy and then when I had to quite work to go on full bed rest I found even more time on my hands.
So I changed my goal from 25 to 40, I am currently at 37 books. I am currently finishing up the Chronicles of Narnia
My top 5 books I have read so far this year are:
1. The Diamond Secret
By Suzanne Weyn
Which is based of the story of Anastasia, and has snagged my interest as to the origins behind her death.
2. The first two books in the Unfortunete Fairy Tale series
By Chandra Hahn
3. The Magicians Nephew
By C.S. Lewis
4. Princesses of the Midnight Ball and Princesses of the Silver Woods
By Jessica Day George
5. The Tollgate
By Georgette Heyer
I am excited to finish this goal, the last time I set one I missed it by a couple books. It was very disappointing to me so I always try my hardest to reach it.

Week 36
It has been an exciting week for our little family, here is a recap for you with pictures!
the Thursday before last Matthew had a work Christmas party and it was a formal event, so I made myself a wonderful purple dress to fit the occasion,
Here I am sporting it next to our wonderful Christmas tree,
First I had a doctors apt on Monday where I found out that I group B Strep, which means I have to have a IV during labor which I am not looking forward to at all because the IV has to be in my hand it is really painful. (the veins are big enough anywhere else.)
But on the plus side of all of that I did get to see my little man, look at that cute face! And according to my mom he has great player piano fingers.
Then I woke up from a nap two days later thinking my water broke, so we went back to the doctors, and thankfully it hadn't but that doctor said it wouldn't be to much longer till this little guy is here.
Later that night I couldn't sleep because I was having really bad cramps, only to find out the next day that is a sign of labor and a way for my body to get ready to have the baby. So now I am even on my bed rest (put there by my husband) and very bored. But I am looking forward to the day that this will all be over.
I can't say I have had an increase in contractions, but the intensity has increased quite a lot. I know of to stop and take a breather, where as before I could work through it.
It has gotten harder to sleep at night because of the contractions and pain, but I manage somehow, even if its only a couple hours here and there. Most of the time I sleep during the day because its easier.
So now I am just biding my time, filling my days with reading, sleeping, and sewing.
22 days left!

Pregnancy Update!
It has been a very long time since I posted last, but don't worry a lot has happened and I hope to be able to get back to the wonderful world of blogging.
Anyway, I want to give you a quick update of how this pregnancy is going so far.
1. I found out I am at high risk for early labor.
2. I have been put on full bed rest, in hope that it would stop my contractions, which it has slowed them down, but they are still there.
3. We are getting nearer and nearer to my due date and I am starting to freak out.
In October my mother hosted a baby shower for me in San Diego, and it was so nice to get there and see all the friends and family I missed for so long. While there I went to the beach, here are a couple pictures for you.
Right now I am at 35 weeks, it has been a grand adventure, but I will be happy when it is over.
Here is a picture at 32 weeks, though I have grown quite a bit since this was taken.
Since having to go on bed rest I have gotten a lot of books read and some sewing done, that I know I would be stressing about unless I had this much time on my hands. All I do on bed rest is sleep, read, eat, and sew, its a rather boring life. But you get used to it... maybe...
